Three paths from ECC to SAP S/4HANA
There is no single right way to migrate. We help you pick the path that fits your processes, your data and your timeline.
New implementation
Best when: you want to redesign processes and start clean.
- Adopt SAP best-practice processes
- Leave custom code and old data behind
- Ideal for S/4HANA Cloud
System conversion
Best when: your ECC processes work well and you want to keep your history.
- Convert ECC to S/4HANA in place
- Keep historical data and configuration
- Modernise step by step after go-live
Selective data transition
Best when: you want to keep some processes and data, and redesign the rest.
- Choose the data and history to move
- Consolidate or split company codes
- Balance speed and transformation
Start with an S/4HANA readiness assessment — we review your system and recommend the right approach.
Business first
We start from your processes and goals, not from the software.

SAP questions, answered
What SAP services does Data ETL provide?
We cover the full SAP S/4HANA lifecycle: readiness assessment and roadmap, new implementation, ECC to S/4HANA migration, SAP BTP extensions and integration, Fiori apps, and managed support after go-live — plus hands-on SAP training for your team.
How long does an SAP S/4HANA implementation take?
It depends on scope, the number of modules and countries, and data volume. A focused cloud rollout can take a few months, while a large multi-site programme takes longer. We give you a phased timeline after the discovery and readiness assessment.
Should we choose greenfield, brownfield or selective data transition?
Greenfield suits a fresh start with redesigned processes, brownfield converts your existing ECC system and keeps its history, and selective data transition moves only the data and processes you choose. We compare them for your landscape during the readiness assessment.
Is SAP ECC still supported?
SAP has announced the end of mainstream maintenance for SAP ECC 6.0 in 2027, with optional extended maintenance until 2030. Planning your move to S/4HANA now gives you time to migrate without a rush.
Do you work with SAP cloud (RISE with SAP) and on-premise?
Yes. We implement and support SAP S/4HANA Cloud (public and private edition, including RISE with SAP) as well as on-premise systems, and connect them to your other applications through SAP BTP.
Can you train our users and key users?
Yes. Our consultants also run SAP training — role-based end-user sessions, key-user and module courses, and ABAP/BTP developer training — so your team can own the system after go-live.
